I feel like I should share this because I know how much you all care about Hudson, and I can see how upsetting this situation has been for many of you: Hudson’s legal team is aware of the hate tweets, group chats, and accounts created with the sole intention of defaming him. They will do their work but here’s what we should do: It’s also important to say that these cowardly accounts, runned through burner profiles do not deserve your time, energy, or attention. Right now, the most important thing is for you to take care of your mental health. The smartest thing to do is not engage, only report. I’ve seen a lot of people quoting these accounts, and that’s exactly what they want: attention. Engaging will only upset you further, and it’s a battle that can’t be won. Unfortunately, some people will hate for no reason, and there’s nothing we can do to change their minds. What we can do is focus on Hudson, his work, and on ourselves - so this space stays positive and safe for everyone. If you stop engaging, this content won’t show up on your timeline, and that’s one of the best forms of self-care you can practice right now.
